What We Do

At Japhet Olayiwola Temowo Foundation, we focus on four major areas of impact:

1. Education & Youth Empowerment

Education, according to Malcolm X, is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. The intent of our educational initiatives is to equips individual with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive and succeed in the ever-changing world.  Through our education initiatives, we provide the following:

Scholarships, Stipend & Grants:

Layi Temowo Scholarship: The Layi Temowo scholarship grant is a need-based five-year tuition only scholarship for two well-deserving and admitted University/College bound students. The two students will be selected annually for this and it last for the duration of their education. It is strictly designed to fund the tuition fee for student admitted to any public University or College in Nigeria. For more information on eligibility, qualification, application and selection. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP

The Baba Lekan Peters stipend grant is a stipend in honor Mr. Peters for tremendous support and labor of love. It is a need-based monthly stipend for ten deserving students to help offset school expenses. For more information on eligibility, application, and selection, see link on scholarship page.

 

APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP

This grant is in honor of the Mojisola Temowo for her help and financial assistance when it was need most. It is a need-based grant to offset WAEC, NECO and JAMB fee for five deserving students. For more information on eligibility, application, and selection, see link on scholarship page.

2. Economic Empowerment for Widows and Orphan

We believe in teaching people how to fish. Our empowerment programs provide:

Rachel Funmilayo Temowo Monthly Stipend for Widows and Orphans:

Business grant for to help entrepreneurs and small business owner to launch and sustain their businesses is a grant specifically geared toward help the people to owner and run their business. This program is in work and as time progresses, there are starting identify and working with deserving individuals to help with their business.
